Chief Architect Drafter Needed for Ongoing Residential Architectural Projects

Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Architect X17 professional to assist with residential architectural projects on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate has extensive experience producing high-quality permit and construction drawings and understands residential construction methods, not just how to operate the software. This is intended to become a long-term working relationship as project volume continues to grow. Responsibilities Build accurate existing conditions models Produce permit-ready construction documents Create floor plans, elevations, sections, details, foundation plans, roof plans, and framing plans Complete revisions from architectural markups Maintain organized Chief Architect plan and layout files Coordinate directly with the architect throughout each project Qualifications Expert proficiency in Chief Architect X17 Strong knowledge of residential construction Experience producing complete permit drawing sets Excellent attention to detail Strong English communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred Experience Chief Architect AutoCAD Rhino SketchUp Residential additions and renovations Custom homes IRC familiarity To Apply Please include: A few examples of your best Chief Architect construction documents A brief summary of your residential experience Your availability each week A small paid test project may be used before assigning larger projects.
