Chief Financial Officer (CFO) — Full-Time
Worldwide
Posted by JJT Consulting Group on behalf of a client company. About This Search JJT Consulting Group is conducting a search for a Chief Financial Officer on behalf of one of our clients — an education and business-coaching brand ranked #35 on the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest-Growing Companies. The company has grown quickly across a coaching program serving hundreds of students and a real estate/franchise-style suite model, and it now needs a financial leader who can build the infrastructure to match that growth, not just keep the books. The Role This is a full-time, high-level Chief Financial Officer position, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the COO. You'll own the company's full financial picture — not just monthly reporting, but the strategic financial leadership that lets a fast-growing company scale without losing visibility into its own numbers. You'll walk into a business that's already profitable and already recognized nationally for its growth. What's missing is the financial infrastructure that should exist at this size: consolidated reporting, a real forecasting process, and a clear, confident answer to "where is the money actually going" at any moment. What You'll Own 1. Full financial oversight — P&L, cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting across the business. 2. Consolidated visibility across accounts — the company currently operates across multiple accounts (including a trust account) with no single bird's-eye view; building that view is a top priority. 3. Payroll ownership — bring payroll fully under Finance, off the plate of the operations team where it currently sits. 4. Collections and dispute management — partner with the sales and operations teams to build a real process for tracking payment plans and resolving disputes, an area that's currently costing the company money and reputation. 5. Reporting and KPIs — build the financial dashboards leadership needs to make decisions with real numbers instead of guesswork. 6. Compliance and outside relationships — be the primary point of contact for the company's CPA, accountant, and any outside financial or lending relationships. 7. Strategic partnership with the CEO and COO — bring a financial point of view to growth decisions, not just report on them after the fact. What We're Looking For 1. Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience at an 8-figure+ company, ideally one that scaled quickly — we want to see the growth on your résumé, not just hear about it. 2. Verifiable proof of the financial results you helped produce — specific revenue, margin, or fundraising outcomes you were directly responsible for, backed by references or documentation. A title alone is not proof. 3. Experience managing multi-entity or multi-account financial structures (trust accounts, franchise/real estate models, or similar complexity is a strong plus). 4. Comfortable being a strategic partner to a public-facing founder brand, not just a back-office function. 5. A track record of building financial systems and reporting from the ground up, not just operating ones someone else built. 6. Someone who doesn't need to be micromanaged — you should be bringing the CEO and COO options, not just numbers. Why This Role 1. You're joining a company that's already been recognized nationally for its growth, with real revenue and a proven business model behind it. 2. You'll have real authority to build the financial function from a genuine gap, not just inherit someone else's system. 3. This is a seat at the leadership table, working directly alongside the CEO and COO — not a bookkeeping role. Compensation Competitive, commensurate with experience — we're focused on finding the right financial leader, not fitting a rate to a rigid range. How to Apply Your application should include: 1. Your CFO/senior finance experience — company size, revenue scale, and how quickly that company was growing. 2. What you helped produce — specific financial results: revenue growth, margin improvement, successful raises, or similar, that you were directly responsible for. 3. How we can verify it — a reference we can contact, documentation, or anything else that confirms this isn't just a title on a résumé. Applications without all three, or that don't follow the subject line format, will be deprioritized. Client company details are shared confidentially with candidates who move forward.
