TensionIQ® is a patent-pending cargo securement intelligence architecture designed to provide continuous cargo securement visibility, predictive cargo-risk identification, and automated securement documentation for commercial transportation. I am seeking an experienced Systems Engineer, Embedded Engineer, or IoT Product Development professional to help transform the existing intellectual property architecture into a functional prototype and technical demonstration platform. This is not a simple sensor project. The objective is to evaluate and demonstrate the technical feasibility of a cargo securement intelligence system capable of monitoring cargo securement conditions in real time and communicating risk information to relevant stakeholders. Project Objectives The selected individual will assist with: • Reviewing existing patent drawings, technical architecture, and system requirements. • Developing a prototype architecture capable of monitoring cargo securement conditions through integrated sensing technologies. • Evaluating strain-gauge, load-cell, tension-sensing, vibration-sensing, and related approaches for securement-state monitoring. • Integrating sensors with a microcontroller or embedded computing platform. • Developing firmware capable of collecting, processing, and transmitting sensor data. • Implementing wireless communications using technologies such as Bluetooth, LoRa, Wi-Fi, LTE, or similar methods. • Developing a basic dashboard, interface, or visualization environment that demonstrates securement-state information and alert generation. • Assisting with prototype testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation. • Providing recommendations for commercialization, manufacturability, scalability, and future product development. Desired Prototype Capabilities The initial prototype should seek to demonstrate: • Continuous monitoring of cargo securement conditions. • Detection of changing securement-state conditions. • Identification of potential securement degradation events. • Wireless transmission of sensor information. • Event logging and data recording. • Alert generation when predefined thresholds are exceeded. • Demonstration of how predictive risk identification could be implemented. The prototype does not need to be production-ready. The objective is to establish technical feasibility, validate core concepts, and create a demonstration platform suitable for discussions with potential commercial partners, strategic investors, licensees, and acquisition candidates.
