Children’s Book Illustration Needed

Hi! I’m a self-published children’s book author looking for an illustrator for my next picture book. This is an independent project, not a large publishing house project, so I’m hoping to find someone who enjoys working with self-published authors and can work within a reasonable budget. The book will be approximately 24 interior pages plus a front cover. I’m looking for bright, colorful illustrations that are fun, expressive, and appealing to young children. One of the most important parts of this project is character consistency. I have already created a character sheet for the main characters and have begun putting together a few sample pages that can be used as references. I would love to find an illustrator who is comfortable working from existing reference materials and can help bring the story to life while maintaining the look, personality, and overall feel of the characters that have already been developed. While creative input is always welcome, I am looking for someone who can build upon the existing foundation and really work with me to bring my vision to life. I have attached my character sheet and a sample page (not fully finished) for reference.
