Children's Book Designer and Illustrator Needed for Musical Education/Counting book I am seeking a versatile and talented professional to create and design a complete children's book. Looking for a skilled illustrator who also has expertise in book design, including layout/typography, and creating fully executed print-ready formats. About the Project My children's book is a story of a young boy learning to count by playing drums/music. I need a designer who can bring this world to life for young readers 2-6. The scope of work includes: Illustration: Creating captivating colorful illustrations for each page in a 20-24 page (depending on style choices) 8x8 book. Prefer an engaging modern style for children 2-6 which will include a drumset on multiple pages, musical notes (for style, does not need to be actual accurate musical notation), and an eye-catching cover featuring the main character. *No AI-generated images or AI image editing allowed in final product* Layout Design: Placing the text and illustrations on each page in a way that is engaging, easy to follow, and complements the narrative flow. Typography: Selecting and applying a font that is legible for children, matches the book's tone, and works with the illustrations. Print-Ready Files: Delivering all final, high-resolution files ready for a professional printer to publish. Final product will be a full executed ready-to-print book. The ideal candidate will have: A strong portfolio demonstrating both illustration and book design work, specifically in children's literature.
