China-Based Senior Consultant — Higher Education & Institutional Relations We are looking for a China-based senior consultant to support an international higher education project for a Spanish public university. The consultant will help facilitate relationships with Chinese universities, public agencies, education authorities and research institutions, acting as a local bridge between the university and key stakeholders in China. Key Responsibilities: -Identify and approach relevant Chinese universities, institutions and public bodies. -Facilitate meetings, introductions and follow-up with local stakeholders. -Support the development of joint programmes, double degrees, research partnerships and talent attraction initiatives. -Provide local insight on the Chinese higher education ecosystem. -Support institutional visits, academic missions and on-the-ground coordination when needed. -Report regularly to the Spain-based project team in English. -Requirements -Based in China. -Native or near-native Mandarin Chinese. -Cantonese would be a plus. -Fluent professional English. -Strong network in Chinese higher education, public institutions or academic cooperation. -Previous experience with universities, international education projects, government agencies or institutional partnerships. -Availability to attend meetings and travel within China when required.
