China Sourcing & Product Development Specialist (English/Chinese)

We are looking for an experienced China Sourcing & Product Development Specialist to help identify suppliers, manage procurement projects, and facilitate communication with manufacturers in China. This role is ideal for someone with strong English and Mandarin communication skills who understands the full product development and sourcing lifecycle—from supplier research to production and delivery. Responsibilities Source and evaluate manufacturers and suppliers in China Communicate with factories and negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and terms Conduct supplier verification and due diligence Manage RFQs and compare supplier quotations Support product development from concept to production Coordinate sampling, quality control, and production timelines Facilitate communication between English-speaking stakeholders and Chinese suppliers Monitor orders and ensure timely delivery Identify cost-saving opportunities and supply chain improvements Requirements Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English Proven experience sourcing products from China Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Experience working with manufacturers across consumer goods, home & living, textiles, luxury products, or related industries Understanding of product development and procurement processes Excellent project management and communication skills Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems Nice to Have Existing supplier network in China Experience conducting factory audits or quality inspections Background in international trade, import/export, or supply chain management Experience working with Western companies
