Chinese/English speaking logistics/freight Sales

About us: We are a full service freight brokerage operating in the united states with expertise in over the road trucking and final mile cargo delivery from Port To Door. The primary service we provide our clients is domestic USA transportation of their goods. We source our carriers carefully provide our customers with excellent service. Our clients are any entity that needs cargo transported. We have expertise with over the road trucking including, full truckload, LTL, Drayage, hotshots, etc. but we also have ability to service our clients with airfreight, warehousing, transloading, international freight via ocean or air. We pride ourselves in learning about our clients and their needs, and coming up with a solution that works for them. We are seeking a candidate who aligns with our vision. We are seeking a representative who will join our team in a permanent role as a sales person. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English and a deep understanding of Chinese logistics business and/or a sincere desire to learn and develop expertise in the field. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, sales, customer service, attention to detail, technological literacy, and the ability to work independently as well as a part of a team to reach KPI goals. Responsibilities: - SALES. Cadndidate would bring their own brook of business or client list and/or be willing to do the leg work to source lead list for cold calls. - Targeting 1 new client per month. Chinese business are preferred but any client who has USA freight needs is open for pursuing. - Serve as operations agent. Communicate effectively with USA based venders to service Chinese clients. - Facilitate effective communication and ensure all parties are informed of important updates and changes - Quickly learn or have experience with freight brokerage operations. Negotiate with customers and carriers - Provide translation and interpretation services as needed - Support business negotiations and meetings by bridging the language and cultural gaps - Assist with market research and analysis of Chinese market trends Requirements: - Fluent in both Chinese and English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Deep understanding of Chinese business culture and customs - High ambition to succeed in a competitive but limitless/upwardly mobile business environment - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
