Chinese (RedNote/Xiaohongshu) Social Media Manager - Fluent Chinese & English

*About Us* OCD Recovery is an international mental health organization that provides education, coaching, support groups, and recovery resources for people struggling with OCD and anxiety disorders. We have helped tens of thousands of people worldwide and are now expanding our presence on Chinese social media. *Position Overview* We are looking for a highly reliable and detail-oriented Social Media Manager to manage our presence on RedNote (Xiaohongshu / RED). The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Chinese and English (written and spoken), understand social media content strategy, and be able to accurately communicate mental health-related concepts to a Chinese-speaking audience. *Responsibilities* - Post approximately 20-30 short-form videos (reels/shorts) per week on RedNote - Write and adapt captions, titles, and post descriptions in Chinese - Respond to comments and engage with the community - Monitor account performance and provide basic metric reporting - Work closely with the OCD Recovery team to ensure translations and messaging remain accurate - Help identify content trends and opportunities relevant to the platform - Maintain a consistent posting schedule *Requirements* - Fluent in Chinese and English (written and spoken) - Experience managing RedNote (Xiaohongshu / RED) accounts - Strong understanding of Chinese social media culture and audience preferences - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Ability to translate and adapt content accurately rather than relying on literal translations - Comfortable collaborating with an international remote team - Reliable internet connection and responsiveness - Experience translating or creating educational content especially, short-form - Ideally some understanding about mental health topics *Time Commitment* - Approximately 4-6 hours per week - Long-term ongoing opportunity for the right candidate *To Apply* Please include: 1.
