Chinese-Speaking Content Creator & Video Editor (8–10 Hours/Week)

We’re looking for a creative and dependable Chinese-speaking Content Creator & Video Editor to help grow our presence on YouTube, RedNote (Xiaohongshu), and Douyin. This is a long-term, part-time position (approximately 8–10 hours per week). We’re looking for someone who can help refine and elevate the content by making it more engaging, visually appealing, and memorable. What We’re Looking For The goal is to create relaxing, meaningful videos featuring beautiful gemstones, jade, crystals, and other visually stunning objects while narrated stories play in the background. These stories may include: * Chinese folklore and fairy tales * Inspirational stories * Love stories * Adventure stories * Moral and life lessons * Ancient wisdom * Short educational stories * Original storytelling that resonates with viewers The narration should naturally complement the visuals, creating videos that are enjoyable to watch, relaxing, and meaningful. Responsibilities * Edit videos using footage we provide. * Create engaging videos for YouTube, YouTube Shorts, RedNote, and Douyin. * Produce story-driven videos using AI-generated visuals, stock footage, music, and narration. * Add Chinese subtitles (and English subtitles when appropriate). * Upload and organize content on our platforms. * Help write titles, descriptions, hashtags, and suggest thumbnails. AI Tools Much of the creative process can be completed using AI tools. Experience with ChatGPT, AI image generation, AI video tools, Canva, or similar software is helpful but not required. We’re happy to work with someone who is creative and willing to learn. Requirements * Fluent in Mandarin Chinese. * Able to read and write Simplified Chinese. * Basic video editing skills. * Creative, organized, and dependable. * Familiarity with YouTube Studio is helpful but not required. We Provide * Raw footage and gemstone videos. * Story ideas and creative direction. * Ongoing feedback and support. * Remote access to files when needed.
