Cinematic VFX / Compositing Artist for Futuristic Concept Reel

I’m an independent creator/director developing a cinematic visual reel centered around the theme “future of work”. The project blends elements of: - cinematic storytelling - music-video-style pacing/editing - sci-fi/corporate aesthetics This is a personal creative project with a strong visual direction and good visual storytelling. It’s not a traditional commercial nor a standard social media edit. However, it will be posted on social media. The video will be shot in Jamaica with a local cinematographer, and I’m looking for a skilled VFX/compositing artist to collaborate with remotely during post-production. Project scope: - Approximate runtime: 2 minutes (split into part 1 & 2) - VFX will be selective and scene-specific rather than present throughout the entire video - Estimated post-production timeline: ideally within 2 weeks after footage delivery. The earlier the better, but I’m practical, tell me what is actually possible. Visual elements/effects include: - Visor/glass reflection effects - Futuristic corporate visual enhancements - Stylized compositing and visual enhancement work for cinematic sequences - Stylized robotic/cybernetic visual effects for select scenes - Environmental pulse-wave effects inspired by abstract seismic sensing visuals - Cinematic futuristic color grading and atmosphere I’m not necessarily looking for massive Hollywood CGI. What matters most is: - cinematic taste - strong compositing - visual atmosphere - editing rhythm/pacing - believable stylized effects - creativity and collaboration Looking for someone who: - Has experience with VFX/compositing - Understands cinematic or music-video-style editing - Has a strong visual eye for futuristic/sci-fi aesthetics - Knows how to maintain visual quality across social media platforms - Has good communication and collaboration skills - Is open to potentially collaborating on future projects as well Software experience can include: - After Effects - DaVinci Resolve - Blender - Cinema 4D - Nuke - Unreal Engine However, I mostly care about the outcome.
