Cinematic Video Editor — Film & TV Documentary YouTube Channel (Long-Term, Recurring)

I'm building a faceless YouTube channel of cinematic, Netflix-style documentaries about the behind-the-scenes stories of famous films and TV shows. I'm looking for an editor with a genuinely cinematic eye for ongoing, long-term work. The single most important thing: this is cinematic, restrained editing, not flashy over-editing. Think movie trailer, not montage. Slow and intentional, clean, letting the story and the footage do the work. If your instinct is to pile on effects, zooms, and transitions, this is not the gig. And excellent sound design is essential, it is where most editors fall down and it is what I care about most. What the job actually is (it's lighter than it sounds): I provide everything. For each video you get the full script, the voiceover, all the source footage (downloadable in one click, no hunting), and rough notes on where to cut. There is no research and no sourcing. Your job is purely the edit: pacing, clip selection, on-screen text, and sound design. That is the most important work, and it is all you focus on. Format: around 15-minute documentaries, archival and interview clips over narration, 4 videos per month, ongoing.
