Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Wedding Video Editor with at least 3 years of proven experience in cinematic wedding filmmaking. We want to clear this upfront: we are not looking for a basic, chronological sequence of events. We need a professional storyteller who understands visual narrative, emotional pacing, and high-end post-production. You will be provided with professional footage shot in Sony S-Log3, along with separate audio tracks. Key Responsibilities & Creative Requirements: Focus on Expressions & Human Details: We want an editor who hunts for micro-moments. You must have the sensitivity to spot and highlight raw emotions—stolen glances, subtle smiles, a tear rolling down, or a tight embrace. The film must feel deeply personal and cinematic, not generic. Non-Linear Storytelling: Build a compelling narrative that hooks the viewer, blending audio cues (speeches/vows) with the best visual moments. Emotional Pacing (Ceremony): Deliver a touching, well-paced sequence for the emotional highlights of the day (getting ready, first look, ceremony), showing extreme attention to close-ups and details. Dynamic & High-Energy Editing (Party): Transition into a fast, engaging, and modern edit for the reception and party phase. Advanced Motion & Speedramping: Seamlessly use speedramping and creative transitions to enhance the rhythm, without over-stylizing. Cinematic Color Grading: Expertly grade Sony S-Log3 footage. We expect clean, natural skin tones, rich contrast, and a cohesive, cinematic color palette. Obsessive Attention to Detail: Precise audio syncing, sound design (sound effects/ambient enhancement), and flawless shot selection. Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of professional experience specifically in Wedding Video Editing. A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating cinematic storytelling, focus on emotional details, and advanced color grading. Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro.
