Civil 3D CAD Designer – Civil / Utility / HDD Projects (Remote Contract) Location: Remote Type: Contract Rate: $15–$30/hr depending on experience. Higher rates will be considered for exact preferred experience. About Us We are a U.S.-based drafting company providing on-demand CAD production support to civil engineers, land surveyors, and utility companies. We assist with preparing construction drawings, civil design plans, and infrastructure deliverables. We are looking for a Civil 3D CAD Designer who can support our team by converting engineer markups and redlines into clean, construction-ready drawings, specifically in our utility, fiber, and pipeline division. Responsibilities -Prepare and modify drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D -Follow PDF redlines and markups from engineers or project managers -Produce plan sheets, profiles, and utility layouts -Maintain proper layers, styles, and organization -Work using client templates and standards -Deliver accurate CAD files ready for submittal Requirements -Strong experience with Autodesk Civil 3D -Active Civil 3D license -Ability to read and follow PDF redlines -Experience preparing civil construction drawings, specifically utility, fiber, pipeline plan and profiles. -Bulk of working hours must be during U.S. business hours (if outside US time zone) -Must have your own computer capable of running Civil 3D -Must have an active Civil 3D license Preferred: -Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) -Utility or pipeline design experience -Experience working with surfaces, alignments, and profiles Work Details -Remote freelance position -Hourly work ($15–$30/hr depending on experience) -Potential for long-term work for the right candidate How to Apply Please include the following in your proposal: -Your Civil 3D experience (years and project types) -Example drawings you have produced -Confirmation that you have an active Civil 3D license -Your weekly availability Important: Start your proposal with the words “Civil 3D Designer” so we know you read the full posting.
