Civil 3D DTM / GPS Machine Control Modeler

Using the engineered Civil 3D/CAD files and approved IFC construction plan set provided, develop an accurate 3D Digital Terrain Model (DTM/TIN surface) representing the engineer's proposed design. The modeler will overlay and compare the engineered CAD linework against the approved plan set, interpret the grading, paving and roadway plan/profile information, and elevate the applicable 2D linework in Civil 3D to create the proposed 3D surface. The completed model must accurately represent the engineered design and be suitable for use by contractors with GPS machine-control and automated field equipment. This is a modeling/production assignment, not civil engineering design. The modeler is expected to reproduce the engineer's approved design accurately and must not independently modify the engineered design.
