We're looking for an experienced and California-licensed Civil Engineer or registered/ licensed land surveyors to draft a Tentative Parcel Map (TPM) for an SB9 lot split in San Diego County, CA (91941). This project involves preparing the TPM and all necessary documentation for County of San Diego municipal approval. We need someone with a strong understanding of residential lot splits and the ability to collaborate effectively with local authorities. We role will mainly involve the drafting of the map as we have completed much of the paperwork and had an initial meetings with the County and local San Miguel Fire District. CONTRACT ROLE — HIRING SUMMARY SB9 Lot Split — Tentative Parcel Map Preparation San Diego County, CA | ZIP 91941 Project Overview Project Type SB9 Lot Split — Tentative Parcel Map (TPM) Jurisdiction County of San Diego Location / ZIP San Diego County, CA — ZIP Code 91941 Deliverable TPM and all documentation required for County approval License Required California-licensed Civil Engineer or Registered Land Surveyor Scope of Work The selected contractor will be responsible for the following: • Prepare a complete Tentative Parcel Map (TPM) meeting all County of San Diego submittal requirements • Compile all supporting documentation required for municipal approval • Coordinate with County staff and local service districts as needed • Ensure compliance with SB 9 (Senate Bill 9) residential lot split provisions • Demonstrate understanding of applicable zoning, setbacks, and General Plan designations Required Qualifications • Active California Professional Engineer (Civil) license OR active California Licensed Land Surveyor registration • Demonstrated experience preparing TPMs for residential lot splits in San Diego County • Familiarity with SB 9 lot split requirements and County of San Diego DPW/PDS submittal process • Ability to obtain Tax Rate Area from County Tax Assessor and coordinate with service districts • Strong communication skills for collaboration with local authorities How to Submit a Proposal Qualified candidates should provide: • Billing rates or fixed-fee bid for TPM preparation and County submittal support • Resume and/or firm profile with relevant project experience • Examples of previously prepared TPMs (SB 9, lot splits, or comparable residential subdivisions in San Diego County preferred) • Estimated timeline from engagement to County-ready submittal TPM Technical Requirements Checklist The Tentative Parcel Map must be legible and include all items below.
