Civil Engineering Cad Technician

Project Brief: Civil Engineering CAD Technician A Civil Engineering CAD Technician is required on a short-term/project basis to produce detailed drainage drawings and construction details. The work will be based on an already completed drainage design model. You will be expected to: * Produce high-quality A1-sized drawings from an existing drainage model * Develop detailed construction drawings for new drainage infrastructure * Prepare construction details for attenuation features and associated drainage elements * Ensure all outputs align with relevant UK standards and best practice Your requirements should include: * Proven experience producing CAD drawings for civil engineering or drainage projects * Proficiency in AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD software) * Good understanding of drainage layouts and construction detailing * Familiarity with UK standards relating to drainage and SuDS * Ability to interpret existing design information and convert it into clear, buildable drawings * Willingness and ability to carry out research to identify suitable construction details where necessary * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently to deliver accurate outputs
