Quantity Takeoff Specialist Needed for Civil Works Project in Oman Description: We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to prepare a detailed quantity takeoff for a civil works project located in Oman. Scope of Work: Review provided drawings, specifications, and project documents. Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for civil works, including but not limited to: Earthworks and excavation Backfilling and compaction Concrete works Reinforcement steel Roadworks and paving Drainage and utility works Masonry and related civil infrastructure elements Prepare quantities in an organized Excel format with clear measurement references. Identify any drawing discrepancies, omissions, or areas requiring clarification. Deliverables: Detailed quantity takeoff spreadsheet. Measurement sheets with references to drawing numbers and locations. Summary BOQ (Bill of Quantities) suitable for pricing purposes. Requirements: Proven experience in quantity takeoff and estimation for civil infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of international measurement standards and construction practices. Proficiency in Bluebeam, PlanSwift, CostX, AutoCAD, or similar takeoff software. Ability to deliver accurate and well-documented work within agreed timelines.
