Claude API + WordPress AI Chat — Persistent Memory Specialist

We have an AI chat feature on a WordPress membership site that needs one critical fix: persistent cross-device memory. The chat is built on AI Engine Pro connected to the Claude API. Currently conversation history only saves to browser cache — we need it saved to the WordPress database per user so memory persists across all devices and sessions. Fixed price only. On-camera video interview required. Must overlap US Eastern Time (9am–5pm ET). THE JOB Take over our existing AI Engine Pro + Claude API chat implementation and: Build persistent memory — store every conversation in the WordPress database linked to the logged-in user's WordPress user ID. When a member returns on any device Flory must remember everything they discussed. Review the existing build — confirm access restriction, persona loading, and API connection are all working correctly. Fix anything that isn't. QA and handover — written QA report and a brief handover doc covering where everything lives in the database and how to update the system prompt.
