Claude Agentic Systems Designer – Business Automation

We're looking for a senior freelance engineer to design and build AI-powered business automation workflows using Anthropic's Claude. This is an ongoing part-time engagement, not a one-off project — we want someone who can grow with us as our systems evolve. What you'll be doing: Architecting multi-step agentic workflows that automate real business operations Integrating Claude (via Anthropic API / Claude Code) with our existing tools, APIs, and data sources Designing and implementing MCP servers, RAG pipelines, and tool-calling logic Setting up orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, n8n, CrewAI or similar) Owning system reliability — error handling, observability, budget controls, structured outputs Iterating and expanding the system over time as new automation needs arise What we're looking for: 10+ years of overall IT/software systems experience Hands-on production experience with Claude and Anthropic's ecosystem (API, Claude Code, MCP) Proven track record building agentic or LLM-powered systems — not just prototypes Strong Python and/or TypeScript skills A solo operator, not an agency — we want one person who owns this European timezone preferred (CET/CEST compatible) Top Rated or Top Rated Plus on Upwork Nice to have: Experience with n8n, LangGraph, or similar orchestration tools Background in enterprise IT systems or business process automation Strong documentation habits and ability to hand off cleanly Engagement details: Part-time, ongoing retainer Rate: $50–$100/hr depending on experience Starting with a scoped discovery/audit phase, then moving into build
