Summary

You might be the right person for this if you are a technical parent who already uses Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools in real life. You have kids, or you teach, tutor, or homeschool kids in roughly the 5-13 range. You use an iPhone or iPad. You know what it feels like to hand real work to a coding agent and then notice where it still needs human judgment. You should have touched MCP or tool-calling enough to know where the sharp edges are. We are building an early iOS family app for parents who think this way. The rough idea: a parent can use Sprout to turn a family workflow into something a kid can actually do on their device, like a reading quest, chore loop, reward, screen-time rule, creative mission, or small experiment around the house. The work: - install Sprout through TestFlight on your own iPhone or iPad - try small builds and family workflows in a real home or classroom context - stay active in our Discord - reply to build drops with what actually happened - tell us what broke, what confused you, what your kid ignored, and what actually worked - suggest the next thing you would genuinely try - share screenshots or short videos only when safe and private, with no sensitive kid info - do a short weekly check-in Pay: - $25-$40/hr depending on fit - most first contracts will be around $30/hr - 3-6 hours per week to start - $100 weekly continuity bonus for strong ongoing testers who keep showing up, test multiple build drops, and leave useful notes - we may hire several people Required: 1. You are a parent, homeschool parent, teacher, tutor, or edtech person with real kid context. 2. You use an iPhone or iPad and are comfortable with TestFlight. 3. You already use Claude Code, Codex, MCP/tool-calling, OpenAI developer tools, or similar agentic tools in real life. If you do not meet all three, this is probably not the right project. The best applicants will answer like a real person. Tell us what you use, what you have actually built or debugged with it, and what kind of family workflow would be fun for you to try first.
