Claude Code Expert Needed to Optimize Our Engineering Workflow & AI Development Process

We are a growing B2B SaaS company with a distributed engineering team of 15 developers. Over the past few months, we have started integrating Claude Code into our software development workflow. While we've already seen improvements in productivity, we know there is much more we can achieve. We are looking for an experienced Claude Code specialist who can help us build a scalable, repeatable AI assisted engineering workflow. This is not a prompt engineering role. We need someone who understands modern software development, developer workflows, and how to integrate Claude Code into real engineering environments without compromising code quality or maintainability. Our technology stack includes React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, GitHub, Linear, and VS Code. Your role will be to evaluate our current workflow, identify areas for improvement, and establish best practices that our entire engineering team can adopt. The project will begin as a consulting engagement with the potential to become a long term partnership for the right candidate. Responsibilities • Review and assess our existing software development workflow. • Audit how our engineering team currently uses Claude Code. • Configure Claude Code across multiple repositories. • Set up repository specific context and project documentation. • Create reusable prompts for development, debugging, testing, refactoring, and documentation. • Improve feature planning, implementation, and engineering workflows. • Design efficient debugging and troubleshooting processes. • Improve pull request quality and code review workflows. • Build AI assisted testing and documentation workflows. • Recommend best practices for long term Claude Code adoption. • Train engineers on effective Claude Code usage and workflow optimization. You understand developer experience, scalability, and maintainability, and you communicate technical concepts clearly.
