Claude + Microsoft AI Operations Engineer

Sidekick Genius implements and maintains the AI operating-system layer for enterprise teams using approved AI tools: Claude Code/Cowork plus the Microsoft frontier stack. The goal is simple: make AI work like a team operating system, with better context and memory for users and better rollup, review, cost, and operating signal for the business. We start by mapping teams, workflows, roles, handoffs, context, decision points, AI use, review needs, and recurring failure points. Then we deploy and maintain the working layer: Claude Code/Cowork, Microsoft 365, Copilot/Copilot Studio, Azure/Foundry, Entra, Purview, Graph, Power Platform, MCP servers, APIs, prompts, skills, agents, context packs, review gates, evals, runbooks, and operating docs. This is not chatbot or prompt-only work. It is practical engineering, implementation, and ongoing maintenance for real enterprise clients. We are building a contractor bench of forward deployment engineers for Sidekick Genius client projects. Sidekick Genius operates through Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, Microsoft Partner/ISV channels, and the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program. This is an independent contractor role, not a training program or full-time employment promise. What You Would Work On Client work may include: - Audit AI use, repeated context, review burden, and agent sprawl - Map teams, workflows, roles, handoffs, and context flows - Implement Claude Code/Cowork and Microsoft AI workspaces - Write and maintain prompts, skills, agents, context packs, and operating instructions - Build MCP connectors, API integrations, Graph/Power Platform workflows, and tool workflows - Create source rules, memory boundaries, Purview/Entra-aligned controls, review gates, evals, and escalation paths - Monitor quality, cost, adoption, and rework; keep docs and runbooks current Initial Contractor Package Suggested milestones: $25: initial screening, production example, availability, skill self-assessment, and short fit call $100: completion of the agreed readiness packet and certification step $100: verified certification, final delivery profile, and client-project matching packet Expected time: up to 5 hours over 3-4 weeks. Strong candidates may only need 2-3 hours plus one working session with Latif, our founder. Notes: - Sidekick Genius covers approved Anthropic certification fees up to $99 for selected contractors. Do not purchase anything before written approval. - Upwork-sourced work and payments stay on Upwork unless a compliant conversion is completed. - Selected contractors must truthfully list an active Sidekick Genius contractor/consultant role or project association on LinkedIn while contracted. - Company tool access, including Microsoft 365 and Claude Pro where needed, is provided after activation/onboarding and remains active during the contract, subject to security controls. Required Experience Real experience in at least three: - Claude certification readiness: ready to pass Claude Certified Architect, Foundations. Verified certification is required for delivery-bench acceptance or client placement. - Team/workflow mapping: you can turn messy business process into a clear operating model. - Claude Code / Claude Cowork: you have built real Claude workflows, repo setups, skills, commands, or agent workflows. - Microsoft frontier stack: you know Microsoft 365, Copilot/Copilot Studio, Azure/Foundry, Entra, Purview, Graph, or Power Platform. - MCP, APIs, and connectors: you can connect tools, data, and workflows through MCP servers, APIs, or automation. - Operating-system mindset: you think in maintenance, review gates, evals, error handling, documentation, and escalation paths.
