Claude AI & Workflow Automation Specialist ABOUT PATRIOT REI Patriot REI is a growing real estate investment and property management company based in Port Sanilac, Michigan. Our portfolio spans residential and short-term rental properties, active construction projects, and full-service property management — including tenant applications, repairs, and maintenance coordination. We move fast, think practically, and build systems that actually get used. ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a Claude AI expert — someone who knows Anthropic's Claude and the Cowork platform inside and out — to build out the operational backbone of our company. You will integrate Claude/Cowork with Asana, Buildium, Slack, Strety and our email workflows across every department. This is a hands-on contract role — you will not just advise, you will build. You will design and deploy Claude-powered automations, role-specific AI assistants, communication flows, and task routing systems across every major function of our business. The goal is a fully connected, low-friction operating system that our team can run without being buried in manual steps. WHAT YOU WILL BUILD You will be responsible for setting up workflows and AI integrations across the following departments and functions: Real Estate Operations • Lead tracking, deal pipeline routing, and document flow automation • Integration between Asana task management and real estate transaction milestones Property Rental & Tenant Management • End-to-end renter application workflow — intake, screening steps, status updates, and approvals • Automated communication flows for applicants and approved tenants • Buildium integration with Asana and Slack for maintenance requests and lease tracking Repairs & Maintenance • Work order routing from Buildium to assigned vendors or staff • Status tracking and automated follow-up flows • Notification routing through Slack for urgent and routine requests Construction Project Management • Asana project setup for active construction projects with phase-based task structures • Bid and subcontractor documentation workflows • Progress reporting flows and owner update automation Company-Wide Communication & Routing • Slack channel structure, workflow routing, and notification logic • Email integration with Slack and Asana for inbox-to-task automation • Cowork/Claude AI setup for role-specific assistants within each department WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR • Deep, hands-on expertise with Claude AI (Anthropic) and the Cowork platform — this is the core requirement • Proven experience building and deploying Claude-powered assistants, prompts, and workflows in a business setting • Experience integrating Claude/Cowork with tools like Asana, Buildium, Slack, and email • Strong understanding of prompt engineering and how to configure Claude for specific roles and departments • Ability to map existing business processes and translate them into structured, automated systems • Experience in real estate, property management, or construction is a significant plus • Self-directed — you can take a high-level goal and run with it without needing step-by-step direction • Clear communicator who can document what you build so our team can maintain and use it • Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously with a small, fast-moving team NICE TO HAVE • Familiarity with Buildium's API or integration capabilities • Experience building Zapier or Make (Integromat) automations alongside native tool integrations • Background in property management, residential real estate, or commercial construction • Experience with ActivTrak, Upwork, or similar team productivity and time-tracking tools HOW TO APPLY • A brief overview of your background and relevant experience • Examples or case studies of workflow/automation systems you have built (screenshots, Loom videos, or written descriptions welcome) • Your availability and estimated timeline to begin • Your rate or rate range We review applications on a rolling basis.
