Client Account Manager

We're a content and organic discovery agency helping brands get found in the places that currently matter: Reddit, YouTube, editorial coverage, AI search. We're a small team, and everyone here cares about doing good work. We're hiring a Client Account Manager to be the main link between our clients and the people doing the work. This isn't a passive, behind-the-scenes role. You'll run meetings, keep projects on track, and talk strategy directly with clients, while making sure nothing gets missed on either side. What you'll be doing - Run onboarding calls and monthly check-ins, keeping communication clear and expectations aligned - Be the main point of contact for clients through Slack and email - Explain our strategy in a way clients can understand. You won't be doing this alone, but you should feel comfortable being the one leading the conversation - Help guide clients smoothly from onboarding into ongoing work - Review monthly reports for accuracy and make sure they cover what clients care about right now - Pass along client goals and priorities clearly to our internal team - Catch scope changes early and help put together updated proposals, SOWs, and documentation - Collect client feedback and look for ways to improve things over time Internal Coordination - Work with the team to get ahead of client needs before they're even raised - Help keep timelines and deliverables on track across multiple projects - Room to take on more responsibility depending on your background What we're looking for - Experience managing clients in a creative or marketing agency setting - Strong written communication. Clear, warm, and dependable - Comfortable running meetings and representing the company to clients - Organized, able to manage multiple clients without dropping details - Comfortable with Google Workspace, Airtable, and Slack - Enough SEO and content knowledge to speak confidently about strategy. Our SEO team and strategists have your back, but you're the one talking to the client - Detail-oriented and proactive. You notice what needs to happen and you do it The kind of person who does well here: Clients trust you fast. You can go from a client call to a process conversation in the same afternoon. You can explain what we're doing and why to someone who isn't deep in SEO, and you know when to bring in the right teammate for backup. You like making things run better, not because someone asked, but because it bothers you when they don't. You work well with others, communicate clearly, and don't need much hand-holding to figure out what a situation needs. The details Full-time, fully remote. Must be available during EST hours for client meetings.
