Summary

We are a web development agency looking for a Client Call Manager who can communicate directly with clients and help keep communication clear between our clients and development team. The main responsibility of this role is to join client calls, understand what the client needs, answer general technical questions, and provide clear notes and instructions to our developers. This is not a hands-on coding position, and you will not be expected to develop features yourself. However, you should have a good general understanding of web development so that you can follow technical discussions, understand what the development team is working on, and explain technical topics to clients in simple language. This is a part-time, long-term position. We are looking for someone who can become a reliable part of our agency and work with multiple clients over time. Applicants must currently be located in the United States or Canada and be available during EST or PST business hours. ## What You Will Do * Join client calls through Zoom or Google Meet * Communicate professionally and confidently with clients * Listen to client requirements and ask useful follow-up questions * Take clear meeting notes and turn discussions into actionable instructions * Share client requests, feedback, and priorities with developers and designers * Follow the general progress of ongoing projects * Help clarify misunderstandings between clients and the development team * Provide clients with simple updates about current work, next steps, or delays * Explain basic technical topics without using unnecessary jargon * Help keep communication organized across several ongoing projects You will not be responsible for writing code or making major technical decisions alone. The development team will handle implementation and complex technical decisions. However, you should be able to understand common topics such as frontend and backend development, websites, APIs, databases, hosting, CMS platforms, third-party integrations, bugs, testing, and deployments. ## What We Are Looking For * Located in the United States or Canada * Native or near-native English communication skills * Comfortable speaking on camera and leading client calls * Available during EST or PST business hours * Good general knowledge of web development * Able to understand technical conversations even when you are not doing the coding * Clear, professional, and friendly communication style * Organized and able to keep track of notes, feedback, and next steps * Comfortable working with developers, designers, and several clients * Familiar with a web development agency or similar service-based environment * Reliable internet connection and a quiet place for client meetings Previous experience communicating directly with clients is strongly preferred. You may be a developer who enjoys client communication, a technical account specialist, a client coordinator, a business analyst, or someone who has worked between clients and development teams. Experience using AI tools for meeting summaries, documentation, requirement clarification, research, or workflow organization is a bonus. ## Schedule and Engagement * Part-time position * Long-term ongoing work * Must be available during EST or PST business hours * Regular client calls will be part of the role * Additional hours may become available as the agency grows ## Loom Video Required Please include a short 1–2 minute Loom video with your application. In your video, please: * Briefly introduce yourself * Describe your experience speaking with clients * Explain your general web development knowledge * Give a simple example of how you would explain a technical issue to a non-technical client Applications without a Loom video will not be reviewed. ## How to Apply Please submit a short summary of your relevant experience, your current location, your availability during EST or PST hours, and your Loom video link. We are mainly looking for someone who communicates well, understands web development, and can keep conversations between clients and developers clear and productive.
