Client Manager for Social Media Marketing Agency
Worldwide
We're a boutique social media agency working with wellness, health and lifestyle brands across the US and UK. We're hiring a sharp, client-facing Client Manager to join our small, fast-moving team. This role starts part-time, with a clear path to full-time as you build relationships with our clients, our team and our processes. About the Role You'll be the main point of contact for our clients — the voice of the agency on every call, every email, every update. Clients should always feel like they're in good hands and that things are moving forward. Behind the scenes, you'll be shaping content direction with our strategy team, briefing our designers and editors, managing our VA, and keeping the founders looped in on results and anything that needs attention. This isn't a content creation role — you won't be designing or editing yourself. It's a role for someone who's organised, proactive and genuinely good with people, who can translate client goals into clear direction for a creative team, and who's always looking for ways to make the agency run more efficiently as we grow. Responsibilities Client Communication Be the primary point of contact across all client accounts Run client calls with confidence and professionalism Manage day-to-day communication via email and messaging platforms Keep clients consistently informed, reassured and ahead of schedule Content Direction & Creative Briefing Help shape content ideas and direction alongside our strategy team Write clear, detailed briefs for designers and video editors Review deliverables before they go to the client, catching issues early Make sure everything that goes out is on-brand, on time and to standard Team & Operations Manage the VA on admin, scheduling and organisational tasks Keep workflows moving smoothly across the team Spot bottlenecks or delays before they become client-facing problems Proactively identify and implement systems that improve efficiency, productivity and workflow as the agency grows Reporting Give founders regular updates on client health, team performance and anything worth flagging Track deliverables and deadlines across every active account Support monthly client performance reporting What We're Looking For Must Have Prior experience as a Client Manager or Account Manager at a social media or creative agency — this is non-negotiable, we need someone who's done this before Fluent, polished written and spoken English — you'll be client-facing with US and UK brands Strong organisational instincts and real attention to detail Comfortable juggling multiple clients and priorities without anything slipping Warm, confident, professional communication style Naturally proactive — you catch problems before they're handed to you A track record of building or improving systems and workflows, not just following the ones already in place Nice to Have Basic Canva skills, enough to make small tweaks without looping the designer in for every minor change Basic video editing ability, enough to handle quick revisions Comfortable in tools like Notion, Slack, Trello, Asana or similar Experience briefing creative teams on content direction Solid understanding of how content actually works on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook What Success Looks Like Clients always feel supported and never have to chase us for updates The creative team always has clear, actionable briefs to work from Founders are never blindsided by a client or team issue Deadlines are hit, every week, without exception You take on more ownership as you grow into the role Structure, Compensation & Growth This starts as a part-time role. As you get up to speed with our processes and clients and prove you're the right fit, it grows into full-time. Compensation is a flat rate per client managed — the more clients you handle well, the more you earn. Full details discussed with shortlisted candidates. We're looking for someone who wants to build with us long-term, not just fill a short-term gap. To Apply, Please Include Your experience as a Client Manager or Account Manager at a social media or creative agency An example of managing multiple client accounts or projects at once How you typically brief a creative team (designers/editors) on content direction The tools you use to stay organised and keep a team on track A short paragraph on how you'd handle a client who's unhappy with a deliverable Any basic design or video editing experience Your availability and expected rate per client We're a small team that moves fast and holds a high bar. If you take pride in making things run smoothly and never letting things fall through the cracks, we'd love to hear from you.
