Client Relations & Referral Development Specialist (Full-Time) Purpose of the Role We're looking for a proactive, relationship-driven professional who enjoys talking to people and creating meaningful connections. This role is responsible for growing our referral network while also supporting our intake team through client follow-up, relationship management, and communication. You'll spend your day building relationships with professionals and organizations that can refer clients to our firm, while also helping prospective clients move confidently through the intake process. If you enjoy networking, phone conversations, customer service, and creating opportunities, we'd love to meet you. For example, you may reach out to assisted living communities, financial advisors, physicians, hospitals, senior organizations, or real estate professionals to introduce our firm, coordinate visits, or establish referral partnerships. You'll also follow up with prospective clients who have attended workshops, requested information, or have not yet scheduled a consultation. Key Responsibilities Primary: Referral & Community Outreach Research and identify professionals and organizations near our office locations that may refer clients. Build and maintain referral lists using online research, networking, LinkedIn, Google, community directories, and other resources. Prospect new referral opportunities through outbound phone calls, email campaigns, and networking. Schedule meetings, lunch-and-learns, office visits, and community presentations. Coordinate brochure drops, educational materials, and marketing collateral. Maintain ongoing communication with referral partners to strengthen relationships. Identify new networking opportunities, community events, and organizations that align with our practice areas. Secondary: Client Follow-Up & Intake Support Conduct outbound follow-up calls to prospective clients who have inquired about our services. Re-engage leads who have not yet scheduled or completed consultations. Follow up with workshop attendees and webinar registrants. Contact clients regarding missing paperwork, intake forms, or documentation. Answer general questions about our services and help guide clients through the intake process. Assist with scheduling consultations and coordinating appointments. Help reduce no-shows by confirming appointments and maintaining communication prior to meetings. Serve as a friendly, professional first point of contact for prospective clients. What Success Looks Like A growing network of active referral partners. Consistent outbound outreach and relationship-building activities. Increased referral volume month over month. High follow-up completion rates with prospective clients. Strong client satisfaction through excellent communication. Reduced consultation no-shows and improved lead conversion. Accurate CRM documentation and timely follow-up. Positive relationships with both clients and community partners. What We're Looking For Experience in sales, lead generation, business development, client relations, intake, customer service, or account management. Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence on the phone. Comfortable initiating conversations with new people every day. Strong relationship-building and networking abilities. Highly organized with excellent follow-up habits. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Comfortable using CRM software and maintaining detailed records. Professional, positive, and empathetic communication style. Experience in legal, healthcare, financial services, or professional services is a plus. Compensation 7$ an hour for the first 90 days. Increase to be discussed based on performance.
