Summary

Client Relationship Manager – Digital Marketing We’re looking for a highly communicative Client Relationship Manager with strong digital marketing knowledge to become the main bridge between our clients and our internal team. This is not a role for someone who simply schedules meetings, forwards emails, and asks the team for updates. We need someone who understands SEO/AEO, Google Ads, PPC, digital strategy, websites, analytics, and online growth well enough to have meaningful conversations with clients, understand what they actually need, and translate those needs into clear actions for our team. What You’ll Do Be one of the main points of contact for our clients. Build strong, long-term relationships with clients. Hold regular client meetings and understand their goals, challenges, concerns, and priorities. Ask the right questions instead of simply accepting requests at face value. Understand what the client is trying to achieve from a business perspective. Translate client needs into clear tasks, priorities, and strategies for our internal teams. Explain SEO, PPC, Google Ads, website, analytics, and digital marketing topics in a way clients can easily understand. Present results, progress, opportunities, and next steps to clients. Work closely with SEO specialists, PPC specialists, developers, designers, and content teams. Make sure client requests and feedback don't get lost between meetings and execution. Identify opportunities where we can provide additional value to a client. Manage expectations and communicate clearly when something isn't realistic, necessary, or strategically useful. Spot potential problems in a client relationship before they become bigger issues. Help ensure clients understand not only what we're doing, but why we're doing it. What We're Looking For You should be someone who is naturally good with people but also genuinely understands digital marketing. Digital Marketing Knowledge You don't need to be the person doing every technical task yourself, but you should be comfortable discussing: SEO Technical SEO Content marketing Keyword research Google Ads PPC strategy Conversion tracking GA4 Google Search Console Landing pages Website performance CRO Lead generation Digital marketing strategy You should be able to sit in a meeting with a client, understand what they're asking for, recognize when something doesn't make sense, and help determine what we should actually do. Communication This is one of the most important parts of the role. We're looking for someone who: Is extremely comfortable speaking with clients. Communicates clearly and confidently. Is a strong listener. Knows how to ask good follow-up questions. Can simplify complicated marketing topics. Can handle difficult conversations professionally. Doesn't avoid problems. Can manage expectations without damaging relationships. Is proactive rather than waiting for clients to ask what is happening. You're Probably a Good Fit If... You've previously worked as a: Digital Marketing Account Manager Client Success Manager SEO Account Manager Digital Marketing Strategist Marketing Project Manager Agency Account Manager Or you've worked hands-on in SEO/PPC and realized that one of your strongest skills is actually communicating strategy and working with clients. What We Don't Want We're not looking for someone whose role is simply: Client sends request → forward request to team → forward team's answer back to client. The person in this role needs to add value in between. You should understand the client's business, understand digital marketing, think critically about what they're asking for, and help both sides arrive at the right solution. The Ideal Person The ideal person is someone who can talk comfortably with a business owner about revenue and growth in one meeting, discuss rankings and organic traffic with an SEO specialist in the next, and then talk with a PPC specialist about campaign performance without getting lost. You don't have to know everything. But you need to understand digital marketing deeply enough to connect the dots, communicate confidently, and make clients feel that someone truly understands their business.
