Client Retention & Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Type: Full-Time | 40 hours per week About Us We are a fast-growing immigration law firm based in Roswell, Georgia, helping individuals and families navigate the U.S. immigration system with urgency, professionalism, and compassion. We are looking for a results-driven Client Retention & Accounts Receivable Specialist who is confident on the phone, persistent with follow-ups, and comfortable persuading qualified potential clients to move forward with our firm. Primary Responsibility: Retainer Conversion Your main responsibility is to follow up with qualified potential clients after their attorney consultation and convert them into retained clients. You will: Review qualified consultation outcomes daily and follow up promptly. Contact potential clients consistently by phone, text, and email. Send quote letters, retainer agreements, and payment instructions. Identify why a qualified potential client has not retained and address their objections. Confidently discuss fees, payment options, timing, and the value of legal representation. Follow up on unsigned agreements and unpaid initial retainers. Re-engage qualified leads who have gone cold or delayed moving forward. Create appropriate urgency and confidently ask for the retainer. Track all follow-ups, objections, commitments, and outcomes. This is not passive follow-up. We need someone who will pick up the phone, build trust, overcome objections, and consistently work qualified leads until there is a clear outcome. Accounts Receivable & Collections You will also: Collect monthly payments and outstanding balances. Follow up on declined payments and promises to pay. Make outbound collection calls. Maintain accurate payment and follow-up records. Escalate delinquent accounts when necessary. What We're Looking For Experience in sales, collections, client retention, accounts receivable, or another conversion-focused role. Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Comfortable making frequent outbound calls and discussing money. Confident handling objections and asking clients to move forward. Persistent, organized, proactive, and results-driven. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with measurable goals. Excellent spoken and written English. Law firm or immigration experience is a plus, but not required. How Success Is Measured Success in this role will primarily be measured by: Qualified consultation-to-retainer conversion rate Retainers and revenue secured Speed and consistency of follow-up Conversion of unsigned/unpaid retainers Monthly payment collections Important: This is not a traditional bookkeeping or administrative AR position. The primary focus is turning qualified consultations into retained clients through consistent, strategic follow-up.
