You will own the day-to-day execution of my personal brand across YouTube and short-form platforms, turning raw ideas and recordings into high-converting content that grows audience, authority, and inbound. You are responsible for strategy, clipping, editing, and publishing, not just “posting what you’re given.” Key Outcomes Consistent weekly publishing of long-form YouTube videos plus daily/near-daily short-form clips across YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. Clear month-on-month growth in views, subscribers/followers, retention, and click-through rate on YouTube and short-form content. A recognizable, consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms that reflects the founder’s personality and positioning. Responsibilities Own the YouTube channel: content calendar, upload schedule, metadata optimization (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, end screens). Turn long-form recordings, calls, and podcast-style content into story-driven, high-retention clips for Shorts/Reels/TikTok. Act as a personal brand manager: protect and shape the founder’s positioning, ensure everything we publish feels on-brand, strategic, and aligned with business goals. Research topics, trends, and competitors to propose video ideas, hooks, and series that match the brand and attract the right audience. Build simple scripts or talking-point outlines for the founder for certain videos (hooks, structure, CTAs). Manage the full content pipeline: from idea → recording request → edit → thumbnail → upload → distribution and repurposing. Monitor analytics (watch time, retention curves, CTR, audience demographics, top clips) and adjust strategy based on what performs. Maintain a content archive and tagging system so strong moments and evergreen ideas are easy to find and repurpose. Engage with the community: highlight top comments, surface feedback, and suggest responses or follow-up content ideas. Daily & Weekly Workflow Daily Review new footage / calls, mark potential viral or high-signal moments. Cut and edit 1–3 short-form clips with strong hooks, tight pacing, captions, and brand styling. Post or schedule Shorts/Reels/TikToks with optimized titles, descriptions, tags, and cover frames. Weekly Prepare and publish at least 1 long-form YouTube video (outline, coordination, upload, optimization). Update the content calendar and propose new content angles based on analytics and trends. Track and report key metrics with a short summary and next steps. Skills & Experience Proven experience managing or growing YouTube channels and short-form accounts for creators, founders, or brands. Strong video editing skills for short-form: pacing, cutting, subtitles, motion graphics, and retention tactics. Solid understanding of YouTube and short-form algorithms, best practices, and current content trends. Ability to understand and protect a personal brand: voice, visual language, what to say and what not to say. Comfortable working with minimal supervision, owning outcomes and proposing ideas—not waiting for instructions. Nice to have: experience with AI clipping/editing tools, thumbnail design, and familiarity with marketing / branding / business content. Personal Traits You think like a creator and strategist, not “just an editor.” You move fast, communicate clearly, and treat deadlines as non-negotiable. You’re obsessed with what makes people stop scrolling and actually watch.
