Close CRM Expert — Optimize CRM for High-Volume Call Center (Business Funding Brokerage)

We're a Miami-based business capital brokerage offering MCA/revenue-based financing, term loans, SBA loans, lines of credit, equipment financing, and more. Our sales team works leads by phone at high volume, and our CRM needs to run like a machine. We're on Close CRM and already have a foundation in place (pipeline, custom fields, custom activities, some workflows) — but it needs an expert to audit, restructure, and optimize it for call center efficiency. The Goal Turn our Close instance into a streamlined outbound/inbound calling operation where reps always know exactly who to call next, nothing falls through the cracks, and management has clear visibility into pipeline and rep performance. Scope of Work Audit our current setup — lead statuses, opportunity pipeline stages, custom fields, custom activities, Smart Views, and workflows — and identify inefficiencies Smart Views — rebuild and organize prioritized calling queues for reps (new leads, callbacks, aged leads, hot opportunities, missed follow-ups, stale deals, etc.) Automations/Workflows — build sequences for lead follow-up (calls, SMS, email), stage-based automations, task creation, and re-engagement of cold leads Opportunity pipeline — refine stages to match our funding process (application → docs collected → submitted to lenders → offers → contracts → funded) and set up automation between stages Lead management — lead routing/assignment, deduplication, lead scoring, and status hygiene rules Dialer optimization — Power Dialer / Predictive Dialer configuration, call outcomes, and dispositions that feed back into Smart Views Reporting — dashboards for call volume, connect rates, pipeline velocity, rep activity, and funded deal tracking Documentation — brief SOP so our team knows how the system works and how to keep it clean Ideal Candidate Deep hands-on experience with Close CRM specifically (not just "CRMs in general") — Smart Views query syntax, Workflows, custom activities, and the Close API Has built or optimized Close for a phone-heavy sales team (call center, inside sales, high-volume outbound) Experience in lending, MCA, financial services, or similar transactional sales environments is a big plus Comfortable with integrations/automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n, or direct API) if needed Strong communicator who can recommend structure, not just take orders How to Apply In your proposal, please include: Specific examples of Close CRM instances you've built or optimized (screenshots or Looms are a huge plus) Your experience with call center / high-volume phone sales workflows Any experience in lending or financial services Your recommended approach for the first 2 weeks of this engagement Engagement Start with a paid audit + optimization sprint. Strong potential for ongoing monthly work maintaining and expanding the system as we scale the team.
