Cloud Security & Compliance Engineer — AWS / Azure

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to assess our current AWS and Azure infrastructure security posture and deliver a prioritized remediation plan. Our environment handles sensitive data, and we need to ensure compliance readiness before an upcoming audit. Responsibilities: - Review IAM policies, security groups, network configurations, and access controls - Identify security misconfigurations, compliance gaps, and potential risks across AWS and Azure environments - Assess compliance alignment with NIST, PCI-DSS, SOX, or ISO 27001 frameworks - Deliver a prioritized findings report with clear remediation recommendations - Implement approved security improvements or guide our internal team through remediation - Recommend security best practices to strengthen our cloud infrastructure Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in Cloud Security, DevSecOps, or Infrastructure Security - Hands-on experience securing AWS and Azure environments - Strong understanding of NIST, PCI-DSS, SOX, and/or ISO 27001 compliance frameworks - Experience with security tools such as Nessus, Splunk, or equivalent platforms - Ability to communicate findings and remediation plans clearly - AWS Solutions Architect, CompTIA Security+, or similar certifications preferred Nice to Have: - Experience preparing organizations for security or compliance audits - Experience implementing cloud security monitoring and governance controls We are looking for a professional who can provide actionable recommendations and help improve our overall cloud security posture.
