AI Coding Session Research

AI Coding Session Research We are conducting research to better understand how software engineers use AI coding assistants in real-world development workflows. We are looking for experienced developers who regularly use tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, or similar AI coding assistants. Deliverables Please provide: - 3 complete AI coding sessions (raw text is fine but please be careful with confidentiality) - Each session must contain at least 75 user-written prompts and corresponding AI responses - The prompts must be written by you during actual engineering work, not generated by AI - Sessions should reflect real development activity, such as implementing a feature, debugging, refactoring, or code review - Conversations should be provided in chronological order Important Requirement All submitted prompts must be genuine user-written prompts from your actual work. Please do not generate, rewrite, or simulate prompts using AI. We will review submissions for authenticity and may reject work that appears AI-generated, synthetic, or not reflective of real engineering activity. Confidentiality Please remove or anonymize any confidential company information, proprietary code, credentials, API keys, personal information, or client names before submission.
