Work description Upwork: Job Title: Cold Caller / Lead Generation Specialist (Remote) Job Overview: US firm (GC focused mainly on concrete restoration) is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented Cold Caller / Lead Generation Specialist to support our business development initiatives. The ideal candidate is confident in communication, adaptable in live conversations, and able to balance structured scripts with natural, persuasive dialogue. This role requires a strong ability to build rapport quickly, identify client needs, and convert conversations into qualified leads and scheduled appointments. This is a fully remote position; however, ensure reliable connectivity, time zone alignment, and operational coordination. Key Responsibilities •⁠ ⁠Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective clients to generate qualified leads and schedule appointments •⁠ ⁠Deliver structured scripts clearly while adapting messaging based on client responses and conversation flow •⁠ ⁠Identify client needs, assess interest level, and qualify prospects according to defined criteria •⁠ ⁠Accurately record call activities, notes, and outcomes in CRM systems •⁠ ⁠Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to maximize conversion opportunities •⁠ ⁠Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to improve outreach strategies and messaging •⁠ ⁠Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly call and lead generation targets •⁠ ⁠Handle objections professionally and confidently while maintaining a positive client experience •⁠ ⁠Research prospects when needed to personalize outreach and improve engagement rates Requirements •⁠ ⁠Minimum 1 year of experience working with a construction, engineering, real estate, or related services company OR Minimum 3 years of experience in a Virtual Assistant (VA), BPO, telemarketing, or call center environment •⁠ ⁠Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) •⁠ ⁠Strong persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal skills •⁠ ⁠Ability to confidently follow scripts while adjusting approach naturally during conversations •⁠ ⁠Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities •⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity •⁠ ⁠Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven role •⁠ ⁠Must have a high-performance laptop/PC, reliable high-speed internet connection, and a quiet working environment Nice to Have •⁠ ⁠Experience in lead generation, cold calling, telemarketing, or appointment setting •⁠ ⁠Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar platforms •⁠ ⁠Background in construction, real estate, engineering, or home improvement services •⁠ ⁠Proven track record of meeting or exceeding call or sales targets •⁠ ⁠Experience working with international clients, particularly US, UK, or Australian markets •⁠ ⁠Understanding of sales funnels, lead qualification processes, and customer journey stages •⁠ ⁠Ability to research prospects and personalize outreach messaging •⁠ ⁠Experience using dialer tools or outreach platforms Working Conditions & Compensation •⁠ ⁠Fully Remote Role •⁠ ⁠Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (US Time Zone) •⁠ ⁠Competitive Base Salary •⁠ ⁠Performance-Based Sales Commission •⁠ ⁠Growth opportunities based on performance •⁠ ⁠Long-term opportunity for high performers
