Collections Representative

***This is part-time, up to 30 hours/week, flexible hours between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM EST. Monday through Friday. *** We are seeking a professional and results-oriented Collections Representative to join our growing team. This role is responsible for contacting individuals with outstanding toll violations, facilitating payment resolutions, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal procedures. This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism under pressure, and the ability to handle high-volume outbound calls while maintaining accuracy and courtesy. Key Responsibilities • Conduct outbound calls to individuals with outstanding toll violations • Clearly explain amounts due, penalties, and available resolution options • Negotiate payment plans in accordance with company guidelines • Document all account activity accurately in the system • Respond to inbound calls and written inquiries as needed • Maintain compliance with applicable collection laws and company policies • Escalate disputed or complex accounts to supervisors when appropriate • Meet established performance and quality metrics Qualifications • Prior collections, call center, or customer service experience preferred • Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging conversations • Detail-oriented with accurate data entry skills • Comfortable working in a structured, performance-driven environment • Basic proficiency with computer systems and CRM platforms (Simplicity and TCN experience a plus) • Coachable, dedicated to continuous improvement, and collaborative & takes initiative What We Offer • Competitive compensation • Performance incentives • Supportive team environment • Training on compliance and best practices This role is ideal for someone who is confident, resilient, and motivated by achieving measurable results while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
