Comedy Writer for Adult-Humor Skits/Sketches for Social Media

We’re looking for a comedy writer to help develop short-form creator content: Instagram Reels, social skits, bait-and-switch jokes, meme-driven bits, and adult-humor style sketches. The content we make sits closer to creator-native internet comedy than traditional branded copy. Think fast premises, strong hooks, awkward/funny social situations, dating/relationship humor, punchy dialogue, meme logic, and jokes that can work visually once edited. We’re not looking for generic blog writers, corporate copywriters, or AI-generated “funny” scripts. We want someone who understands comedic timing, premise escalation, character dynamics, and how jokes land in short-form video. This would start part-time / contract-to-hire. If the fit is strong, we’d like this to become a long-term role with consistent weekly work. We do not need a huge volume of scripts every week. We care more about sharp, usable ideas that actually feel funny and creator-native. You may help with: -Writing short skit premises and punchlines -Turning rough creator ideas into tighter comedic beats -Writing hooks, dialogue, captions, and alternate punchlines -Punching up existing concepts -Creating quick variations for editors/creators to test -Helping us build repeatable formats around creators’ personalities Ideal fit: -Strong sense of internet-native comedy -Comfortable with adult humor and edgy/funny social situations -Can write quickly without over-polishing -Understands Instagram Reels / TikTok pacing -Can imitate a reference style without sounding robotic -Has examples of comedy writing, skits, creator content, stand-up, TV, YouTube, or social scripts
