Comic/Manga Artist

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Comic Book Artist to join our team on a long-term, ongoing monthly comic series. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key creative role in an ambitious science-fiction action project with a strong emphasis on cinematic storytelling, dynamic action sequences, rich worldbuilding, and memorable characters. The Role You'll work alongside our artists to help ensure the final comic maintains a professional and consistent visual standard. Depending on your strengths and availability, responsibilities may include: - Drawing selected action sequences or important story moments. - Assisting with difficult character poses, expressions or dynamic compositions. - Cleaning up artwork produced by assistant artists. - Providing constructive feedback and artistic guidance to the team. - Helping maintain consistency in anatomy, perspective and character designs. - Occasionally demonstrating techniques or providing paint-overs to help less experienced artists improve. - Collaborating with the Lead Artist and Writer to achieve the strongest visual storytelling possible. We're looking for someone who enjoys mentoring and collaborating rather than carrying the entire production. What We're Looking For Professional comic art experience. Strong understanding of comic storytelling and sequential art. Excellent anatomy, perspective and dynamic action. Ability to adapt to an established art style. Comfortable giving constructive feedback in a supportive way. Passion for comics, manga and visual storytelling. Experience with action-heavy comics is particularly valuable. About Script XE Script XE is an original monthly sci-fi comic following Quxan, a charismatic bounty hunter living in a world scarred by ancient wars, systemic prejudice and political unrest.
