Job Title: AI Comic Strip Creator & Canva Editor – Part-Time Virtual Assistant (Golf Niche)Job Description: I am an independent author looking for a creative, tech-savvy Virtual Assistant based in the Philippines to help produce a daily, humorous 4-panel webcomic strip called "Slice of Golf." This is a long-term project on a relaxed schedule. I will provide the weekly comedic text scripts, jokes, and layout outlines. Your job will be to use specialized AI comic tools to generate the images, maintain 100% character consistency, layer the dialogue speech bubbles inside Canva, and deliver the final files. Key Responsibilities: Character Profiles: Set up and lock consistent main character profiles (our cast of four fictional amateur golfers: Arthur, Barnaby, Colin, and Duncan) using an AI engine so their faces and clothes remain identical across all panels. Panel Generation: Take my provided 4-panel text scripts and generate the comic scenes using specialized platforms like Dashtoon, ComicsMaker.ai, or Midjourney (using character references). Background Mimicking: Turn real-world photographs of famous golf courses (starting with an 18-hole narrative loop at the historic Old Course at St Andrews) into a matching 2D vector cartoon background art style. Lettering & Layout: Import the raw AI frames into Canva, overlay clean cartoon speech/thought bubbles, and type in the dialogue scripts provided. Formatting: Deliver each 4-panel strip as a single 2x2 square block for our newsletter, and as four individual square panels for social media swiping. Required Skills: Proven experience with AI image generation platforms (specifically tools with character-locking or pose-editing features like Dashtoon). Fluency in Canva or Adobe Photoshop for adding text bubbles and comic lettering.Excellent eye for comedic timing, facial expressions, and visual pacing.Clear communication, reliability, and ability to hit weekly batch deadlines. A basic understanding of golf rules and culture is a massive advantage! Project Structure & Trial: We will begin with a paid trial (£15 flat-fee) for a single 4-panel comic strip using my provided script to test our workflow, character consistency, and communication.
