About us: We are a premium creative studio that builds video and visual content instead of filming it. Launch films, ads, brand pieces, explainers, and product content, made with a modern stack: editing, motion, design, 3D, and generative AI, directed by taste rather than left to the tools. We work with founders, marketing leads, and creative teams who need high-end results without a film crew. Who we are looking for: A commercial director and editor who can take a brief and tell a complete story with it, using a modern AI production stack as the camera and crew. You think in hooks, structure, and pacing. You know what makes a piece stop the scroll and what makes it land. You direct the AI tools, you do not just accept what they generate, and you finish to a clean, modern, brand-ready result. This role leans story and edit. You own the piece from brief to final cut: concept, shot logic, generation, editing, sound, and finishing. Conventional craft still matters here. The difference between a real director and a prompt operator is taste, structure, and finishing, and we can tell. What you would do: - Take a brand brief and a style direction through to a finished ad or brand film at a high quality bar. - Direct a modern generative stack (image and video models) to produce the shots the story needs. - Edit, pace, add sound and motion, and finish to a modern commercial standard. - Hold a reliable cadence on recurring work without dropping the quality bar. - Keep a brand consistent across a batch of pieces. Must-haves, absolutely required: - Storytelling and structure: you can build a hook, a middle, and a payoff that works as an ad. - Modern commercial register: your work reads current and brand-ready, not dated or arthouse. - Fluency with current AI video and image generation tools. - Strong editing, pacing, and finishing. No AI slop, no leftover artifacts. - Self-direction and reliability on a cadence. - Strong written and spoken English. Nice-to-haves but not required: - Motion design, sound design, color grading. - Conventional art, composition, and 3D for tighter control over generation. - Experience making real ads or brand films, not just tool demos. - On-camera presence, a watchable host or founder-proxy. How to apply: Start your proposal by naming one ad or brand piece you directed end to end, and explain a client problem have you solved with it. Then send: One complete piece (ad, brand film, or short-form) where you directed the whole story, not a montage of best shots. An example that shows how you controlled the AI output, not just generated it. If you have it, a piece that ran for a real brand or client. Shortlisted applicants do one short paid test brief. One real finished piece tells us more than any portfolio. Engagement and rate Remote. We start part-time or per-project so we can both test the fit, then scale to a full-time engagement around $2,000 to $3,000 per month for the right person. Long-term fit is the goal.
