Commercial Electrical Estimator — Full-Time, Long-Term (Australian Electrical & Security Contractor) **About us** We're an established Australian electrical and security integration company delivering commercial projects across construction, education, and healthcare. We're growing our estimating capability and looking for a skilled electrical estimator to join us full-time on an ongoing basis. **The role** You'll prepare accurate, competitive tenders for electrical and security fit-out and infrastructure projects. Day to day, this includes: - Quantity take-offs from electrical, communications, and security drawings - Reviewing scopes of works and specifications to confirm inclusions and exclusions - Pricing labour, materials, and subcontractor packages - Sending requests for quotes to suppliers and subcontractors and levelling responses - Building and maintaining estimate workbooks and tender submissions - Flagging risks, ambiguities, and missing information for the estimating lead **What we're looking for** - Proven experience estimating electrical (and ideally security/comms) construction projects - Confident reading and interpreting electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and specifications - Strong take-off skills using PDF mark-up tools (e.g. Bluebeam) and Excel - Familiarity with estimating/job-management software — experience with Simpro is a strong plus - Excellent written English and attention to detail - Familiarity with Australian standards (AS/NZS 3000) and the local market is highly regarded **Commitment & hours** - Full-time, ~40 hours/week, long-term ongoing engagement - Reliable overlap with Australian Eastern business hours (Sydney/AEST) **To apply** Please include: 1.
