MountainBrook Village, a premier 55+ active adult community in Gold Canyon, Arizona, is seeking a Communications & Digital Media Coordinator to help tell our story and keep residents informed, connected, and engaged. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in newsletters, website management, social media, and digital communications who enjoys working with volunteers, community leaders, and staff to create meaningful resident experiences. ## Position Summary The Communications & Digital Media Coordinator is responsible for managing MountainBrook Village's communication platforms, including the monthly newsletter, weekly e-blasts, website, and social media channels. This individual will collaborate with staff, volunteers, committees, clubs, vendors, and community partners to ensure timely, accurate, and engaging communication throughout the community. ## Key Responsibilities ### Newsletter & Community Communications * Coordinate the planning, production, approval, publication, and distribution of the monthly community newsletter. * Work closely with contracted editors, graphic designers, staff, volunteers, and contributors to ensure deadlines are met. * Develop and publish weekly e-blasts and other community-wide communications. * Create engaging content that highlights community programs, clubs, special events, volunteer opportunities, and resident accomplishments. * Oversee distribution across print, website, email, and social media platforms. ### Website Management * Maintain and update the MountainBrook Village website as the community's primary source of information. * Publish news articles, announcements, event information, governing documents, and other community resources. * Manage website membership access and user permissions. * Coordinate with clubs, committees, staff, and vendors to ensure website content, integrations, links, and features remain accurate and functional. * Provide training and support to volunteers and club leaders responsible for website updates. * Partner with the Lifestyle Director to maintain Trumba calendar integration and ensure event information is current. * Regularly review and verify SharePoint and website links for accuracy. ### Social Media Management * Manage MountainBrook Village's social media platforms with engaging and informative content. * Share timely community updates, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, photos, and videos. * Monitor official channels and direct residents to accurate Association resources when appropriate. ### Partnership & Advertising Support * Assist the General Manager, Lifestyle Director, and designated Board Members in coordinating community partnerships and advertising opportunities. * Help secure signed advertising and partnership agreements. * Coordinate recognition of advertisers and community partners through newsletters, website content, digital communications, and community events. ## Qualifications * Experience in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, digital media, or a related field preferred. * Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. * Experience managing websites and content management systems. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms. * Experience with email marketing, social media management, and online publishing. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, committees, and vendors. * Graphic design experience or familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar programs is a plus. ## What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in delivering high-quality communications.
