Community Assistant — The Job Network About Us The Job Network is an exclusive professional community connecting vetted candidates with verified recruiters through curated job opportunities. We operate a members-only platform alongside a Skool community with free and elite paid tiers. Role Overview We're looking for a detail-oriented Community & Operations Manager to be the daily operator of our network — approving content, distributing job opportunities, engaging with members, and driving growth through our Skool community. Core Responsibilities • Job Post Approvals — Review recruiter-submitted job postings in the admin dashboard daily. Approve quality listings, reject incomplete or off-brand submissions, and communicate with recruiters as needed • Job Distribution & Sharing — Share approved job posts across Skool community channels and external groups using shareable job links (each job has a unique URL at yoursite.com/jobs/id). Craft engaging post copy to drive clicks back to the platform • Recruiter Vetting — Review and approve/deny pending recruiter applications, ensuring only verified, legitimate recruiters gain access to the candidate directory • Introduction Request Management — Monitor recruiter-to-candidate introduction requests, mark them as reviewed, and facilitate connections between parties • Community Engagement — Actively monitor and participate in Skool community chats across both free and elite tiers. Answer member questions, spark discussions, and maintain a positive, professional atmosphere • Metrics & Reporting — Track and report on key community health metrics including: • New candidate and recruiter signups (weekly/monthly) • Job posts submitted vs. approved • Introduction requests volume and conversion • Skool community engagement (active members, post/comment activity) • Entry code usage rates (free vs. elite tier) • Upsell & Conversion — Identify opportunities to upgrade free-tier members to the Elite paid community ($10/mo). Highlight premium benefits in community interactions, share success stories, and create urgency around exclusive content and recruiter access Ideal Candidate • Experience managing online communities (Skool, Discord, or similar platforms) • Comfortable reviewing and curating content quickly • Strong written communication — can write compelling, on-brand social copy • Data-oriented — can track KPIs in a spreadsheet or dashboard and spot trends • Self-starter who can operate independently with minimal oversight • Familiarity with recruiting/talent industry is a plus Tools You'll Use • The Job Network admin dashboard (job approvals, recruiter vetting, intro requests, entry codes) • Skool community platform (chat moderation, content sharing, member engagement) • Reporting tool of choice (Google Sheets, Notion, etc.) for weekly metrics
