Community Coordinator

Overview We are seeking a community-minded and creative Freelance Storyteller & Content Creator to engage with local residents, build connections, and share their stories in a premium neighborhood magazine. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interview residents, draft engaging feature pieces, and capture print-ready photography. Gather local content and upload the finalized deliverables directly into our platform. Responsibilities • Connect with neighborhood residents to develop feature stories. • Write high-quality, engaging content in our brand style. • Capture clear, high-resolution photography to accompany articles as needed. • Format and label photo assets correctly before submission. • Upload finalized articles and imagery into our system. • Deliver all completed materials at least 5 days prior to the monthly publishing deadline. Qualifications • Strong command of English grammar or creative writing. • Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills, comfortable reaching out to community members. • Basic photography skills with an eye for clear, print-ready layout visuals. • Reliable, organized, and strictly adherent to publishing deadlines. Compensation: Fixed rate per approved article/spread ($50.00 – $75.00)
