Community & Creator Outreach Assistant

About the Project I'm building Alavaya, a new platform that helps photographers, models, creators, and brands find local collaborations. The first launch market is Bali, with plans to expand internationally after validating the concept and building the initial community. I'm looking for a proactive and reliable person who can help curate the first creator network and communicate with potential members on Instagram. This is not a mass outreach or spam role. The goal is to carefully build a high-quality creator community through thoughtful profile selection and authentic communication. What You'll Do 1. Creator Discovery & Curation Review Instagram profiles from our candidate database and determine whether they are a good fit for the platform. Evaluate: * content quality * relevance to the creator ecosystem * likelihood of participating in collaborations * Bali relevance * overall profile quality Prioritize: * photographers * models * content creators * videographers * makeup artists * fashion, swimwear, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle brands Avoid: * generic influencers * travel bloggers with no collaboration focus * unrelated businesses * real estate companies * construction companies * hotels and businesses unrelated to creator collaborations 2. Profile Classification Verify and improve creator categorization when needed. Examples: * Photographer * Model * Content Creator * Videographer * Brand * Other creative professional 3. Instagram Outreach Contact selected creators through Instagram DM. Responsibilities: * introduce the platform naturally * explain the value proposition * invite creators to join * answer questions * build trust with potential members 4. CRM Management Maintain outreach records in a spreadsheet or CRM. Track: * Instagram handle * category * contact date * response status * notes * interested / not interested 5. Documentation Save screenshots of important conversations and outcomes. Required Skills * Excellent written English * Strong attention to detail * Good judgment when evaluating creator profiles * Comfortable communicating with creators and influencers * Organized and reliable * Familiar with Instagram culture Strongly Preferred * Background in modeling, photography, fashion, content creation, influencer marketing, social media marketing, or creative industries * Understanding of how creators collaborate professionally * Experience with community building, outreach, marketing, or talent sourcing * Good understanding of what makes a strong creator profile Candidates with a well-maintained Instagram profile and direct experience in creator, photography, modeling, or fashion communities will be strongly preferred.
