We help people connect with experienced, non-clinical guides who provide preparation, integration, and other forms of psychedelic-informed support. Our mission is to make this emerging space more trustworthy, accessible, and human through thoughtful technology, ethical standards, and genuine community. We're looking for someone who doesn't just "manage social media." We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and creating meaningful conversations online. If you're naturally curious, emotionally intelligent, and love making brands feel human, we'd love to meet you. --- ## About the Role: You'll become one of the voices of Guides Collective. Your primary responsibility is to help more people discover and trust Guides Collective by thoughtfully engaging with our community on Instagram. This isn't about leaving hundreds of comments. It's about building genuine relationships that increase awareness, trust, and meaningful conversations around psychedelic-informed support. You'll have the freedom to proactively identify opportunities, start conversations, and help establish Guides Collective as a respected voice within the psychedelic community. --- ## What You'll Do * Thoughtfully engage with creators, guides, seekers, and aligned communities on Instagram. * Leave meaningful comments that add value to conversations (never generic or spammy). * Respond to comments and direct messages in the Guides Collective voice. * Initiate conversations through Instagram DMs when appropriate. * Build authentic relationships with creators, podcast hosts, educators, guides, and community leaders. * Identify potential seekers, guide applicants, collaboration opportunities, and strategic partnerships. * Monitor conversations happening across the psychedelic and wellness space. * Share content ideas, trends, recurring questions, and community insights with our team. * Know when to hand promising conversations off to another Guides Collective team member to continue building the relationship. We want someone who actively looks for opportunities rather than waiting to be told exactly where to engage. --- ## What Success Looks Like Within a few months, we'd love to see: * More thoughtful engagement on our content. * Increased profile visits. * More meaningful conversations happening in comments and DMs. * Creators beginning to recognize and engage with Guides Collective. * More people discovering us organically. * Guides Collective becoming an active, respected voice within the psychedelic community. We're far more interested in authentic relationships than vanity metrics. --- ## Who You Are You're someone who is: * An exceptional written communicator. * Naturally curious. * Emotionally intelligent. * Warm, thoughtful, and grounded. * Highly organized and dependable. * Comfortable starting conversations with people you don't know. * Proactive and self-directed. * Passionate about building authentic communities. * Able to represent a brand professionally while sounding genuinely human. * Comfortable using good judgment when responding to sensitive conversations. Experience with psychedelics or harm reduction is a plus, but it's not required. You're welcome to use AI to brainstorm or draft ideas, but every interaction should ultimately sound like it came from a thoughtful human. Quality will always matter more than quantity. --- ## Time Commitment & Compensation This is a fixed monthly contract for approximately **1-2 hours per day (about 30 hours per month).** Weekday availability is required, with weekend availability being a bonus. Some overlap with U.S. daytime hours is preferred. We'll begin with a **30-day paid trial** to ensure it's a great fit for both sides. During this time, you'll receive onboarding, feedback, and support as you learn the Guides Collective voice and community. If the trial goes well and you're consistently demonstrating thoughtful engagement, strong writing, initiative, and good judgment, we'll increase your monthly compensation and look to grow the role over time. Tell us which AI tools you use in your workflow and how you use them while keeping your writing authentic. --- ## Paid Test Project Finalists will complete a short paid exercise where you'll write comments and DM responses in the Guides Collective voice based on real Instagram posts and conversations.
