Community Marketing Specialist - Reddit, Forums & Deal Communities
Worldwide
About us We're an established European e-commerce company in the fashion accessories space, selling our own brand of premium Italian-made products across 16+ EU markets. We're profitable, founder-led and growing. We've built our business on paid ads and email marketing - now we're investing in organic community channels. (Brand details shared with shortlisted candidates under NDA.) The role You'll own our community presence in your market - the one whose language and internet culture you know natively. We're hiring one specialist per priority market, so you focus where you're genuinely at home: the forums you already read, the deal sites you already browse, the subreddits where you already know the mods' mood. Your goal: make our brand the one that keeps coming up - naturally and credibly - when people in your market ask for recommendations in our category. Markets we're hiring for (apply for the one that's yours): - Germany / Austria - Poland - Romania - Netherlands - Greece - France - Czech Republic / Slovakia - Hungary - Bulgaria - Baltics (LT / LV / EE) - UK - Spain - Italy If your market isn't listed but you think it should be, apply anyway and tell us why. What you'll do (in your market) - Map the communities that matter locally: country subreddits and niche Reddit communities, the big local forums, deal platforms (mydealz, HotUKDeals, Pepper network and local equivalents), Q&A sites - Participate genuinely: contribute useful answers and build real account reputation before any brand activity - Plan and run deal-community campaigns with exclusive discount codes, engaging with comments in your language - Monitor and respond to organic brand mentions - thank fans, handle criticism gracefully, correct misinformation - Seed evergreen, helpful content that ranks in local search for years - Track results: referral traffic, code redemptions, branded search lift - Follow platform rules and EU disclosure requirements - we play the long game What we're looking for - Native speaker of your market's language, living in (or deeply connected to) that market - A native internet person: active Reddit and/or local forum accounts with real history - you know what gets upvoted and what gets you roasted - You understand community culture - you'd never drop a bare link in a thread, and you know why - Experience in community management, forum marketing, social listening or e-commerce is a plus, but genuine community fluency beats a marketing diploma here - Self-directed: you'll get goals and a budget, not a daily task list What we offer - Fully remote, flexible hours (async-first) - Part-time (5-10 hrs/week per market to start) - works alongside studies, a job or freelancing; can grow as your channel proves out - Freedom to experiment and direct access to the founder - zero corporate layers - Free products from our range To apply: tell us (1) which market is yours, (2) links or screenshots of communities where you're genuinely active, (3) one example of a post or thread you'd consider great organic marketing by any brand. No generic cover letters.
