Community Outreach & Support Specialist

We are looking for a proactive, tech-savvy team member to help us engage, support, and grow our Chinese-speaking caregiver community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable using technology, and can communicate effectively with both Chinese and English-speaking users. Preferred Schedule We are flexible, but ideally looking for coverage during both U.S. evening and morning hours. An ideal schedule may include: 6:00/7:00 PM – 11:00 PM/12:00 AM Central Time Plus a couple hours during U.S. morning hours to connect with the team Total commitment is approximately 10–20+ hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours as responsibilities grow. Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is: Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and comfortable communicating in English Familiar with WeChat and online communities Comfortable making phone calls and speaking with users Experienced supporting customers or community members Proactive in outreach and relationship building Able to work independently with minimal supervision Organized, responsive, and accountable Comfortable learning and using technology, AI tools, and online platforms Interested in helping improve processes through user feedback Comfortable preparing daily or weekly activity reports Key Responsibilities Engage with and support our Chinese-speaking caregiver community Conduct outreach and follow-up with caregivers and users Answer questions and provide platform support Assist caregivers with profile completion and improvement Promote and support participation in online training programs Gather user feedback and identify opportunities for improvement Review user profiles and platform activity Assist with content management using AI tools Schedule social media content, weekly blog posts, and other community communications as needed Support additional operational and community-related projects Preferred Experience Customer support, community management, recruiting, sales, or outreach experience Experience working with multilingual or multicultural communities Familiarity with caregiving, childcare, elder care, or immigrant communities is a plus Experience with WeChat, CRM systems, social media tools, or AI productivity tools is preferred We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, building relationships, and creating a positive experience for our community.
