Community manager

We’re currently looking for a Community Manager to join our early-stage Web3 startup, an AI-powered emotional companion designed to support meaningful conversations and help users feel understood, connected, and valued. Our product blends advanced conversational AI with warm, human-like interaction, designed to offer emotional support, daily check-ins, thoughtful dialogue, and a feeling of genuine presence. It is evolving into a Web3-enabled ecosystem, where community engagement, user ownership, and digital identity play a key role in the long-term vision. Your role would focus on growing and nurturing our Discord, Twitter, and Telegram communities, building strong user engagement, launching interactive formats, managing community rituals or events, and developing a consistent, authentic tone of voice across all channels. Since we’re still at an early stage, this is a unique opportunity to shape the entire community and social direction from scratch, bring your ideas, experiment with new formats, and help craft the voice and culture of the product as we grow. Your Responsibilities: - Manage and grow the project's community across Discord, X (Twitter), Farcaster, Telegram, and emerging platforms. - Set up and maintain Discord servers: advanced role settings, permissions, bots, and community flows. - Lead community campaigns: airdrops, quests, challenges, meme battles, ambassador programs, and more. - Shape and execute content strategies that reflect the project's unique tone, identity, and mission. - Moderate conversations, handle community inquiries, and ensure an inclusive and engaging environment. - Collaborate with marketing, product, and tech teams to sync announcements and initiatives. - Use AI tools like GPT-4, DALL·E, or Midjourney to generate content and boost efficiency. - Monitor engagement analytics and adapt community strategies based on data and sentiment. - Stay ahead of the curve on crypto, AI trends, and Web3 culture. What You Bring: - Proven experience building and managing Web3/crypto communities (2+ years preferred). - Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, tokenomics, DeFi, NFTs, L1/L2s, and DAOs. - Interest in and understanding of AI technologies and tools, including large language models. - Familiar with tools like Zealy, Galxe, Notion, GDocs, Midjourney, and blockchain explorers. - Confident in content creation (text, memes, visuals, videos) and viral growth tactics. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. - Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment. Nice-to-Have: - Exposure to AI-powered tools, recommendation systems, or chat/voice interfaces. - Presence or following on crypto-native platforms (Farcaster, Lens, Mirror). - Proficiency in additional languages. - Experience with Jira, Confluence, or community analytics platforms. - Background in AI x Crypto storytelling, prompt engineering, or narrative-driven engagement.
