CompTIA Security+ SY0-701 Instructor Needed for 30-Hour Exam Prep Video Course
Worldwide
We pay 300 USD per hour of final produced content. Strong spoken English and clear instructional delivery are required. We are creating a complete 30-hour CompTIA Security+ SY0-701 exam prep video course. The course should teach students the cybersecurity knowledge and practical security skills needed for entry-level security roles, while also preparing them to confidently take the CompTIA Security+ SY0-701 certification exam. We are looking for an experienced cybersecurity instructor to collaborate with us on this course. The instructor should ideally hold CompTIA Security+ and additional relevant certifications such as CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA PenTest+, CompTIA Network+, CISSP, SSCP, CEH, GSEC, or other cybersecurity certifications. Strong practical experience in IT security, security operations, network security, cloud security, risk management, incident response, vulnerability management, or security administration is also important. The instructor will create the course structure, record clear and engaging video lessons, and develop practical demonstrations, quizzes, original practice questions, performance-based question style exercises, study materials, cheat sheets, diagrams, hands-on labs, and exam preparation resources. The course should be beginner-friendly but thorough, practical, and exam-focused. It should cover the full CompTIA Security+ SY0-701 exam objectives, including general security concepts, threats, vulnerabilities, mitigations, security architecture, security operations, identity and access management, cryptography, network security, application security, cloud security, mobile security, endpoint security, incident response, vulnerability management, risk management, governance, compliance, privacy, business continuity, disaster recovery, and security awareness. The course should include clear explanations of important cybersecurity concepts such as the CIA triad, AAA, zero trust, security controls, encryption, hashing, PKI, certificates, authentication methods, MFA, SSO, access control models, secure protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, NAC, VPNs, segmentation, secure baselines, hardening, patch management, logging, monitoring, malware, phishing, social engineering, web application attacks, wireless attacks, cloud vulnerabilities, supply chain risk, and secure enterprise architecture. The course should include practical demonstrations where relevant. Examples may include using security tools and environments to demonstrate log analysis, basic SIEM workflows, vulnerability scanning, password policy configuration, MFA setup, firewall rules, network segmentation concepts, secure protocol usage, certificate inspection, encryption and hashing examples, Linux and Windows security basics, cloud security settings, IAM examples, incident response workflows, and common attack and defense scenarios. The course should also include scenario-based sections where students learn how to think through real security decisions. This should include comparisons such as preventive vs detective controls, symmetric vs asymmetric encryption, authentication vs authorization, IDS vs IPS, vulnerability scanning vs penetration testing, risk acceptance vs risk mitigation, SSO vs federation, hot site vs warm site vs cold site, RTO vs RPO, and different approaches to securing networks, endpoints, cloud environments, applications, and data. The course should include exam preparation sections, including study tips, common confusing topics, test-taking strategies, performance-based question preparation, domain review sections, knowledge checks, section quizzes, original scenario-based practice questions, and one full-length original practice exam. The full-length practice exam should be delivered in text format and include 90 original questions, answer choices, correct answers, detailed written explanations, explanations for why the incorrect answers are wrong, relevant SY0-701 exam domain, difficulty level, and topic tags. In addition, we may also create a separate CompTIA Security+ SY0-701 practice exams product with 6 full-length original practice exams, 540 questions total. Please mention in your proposal if you would also be interested in creating this exam-prep product. Each question for the practice exams product should include the question text, answer choices, correct answer, detailed written explanation, explanation of why each incorrect answer is wrong, relevant SY0-701 exam domain, difficulty level, and topic tags. The practice exams should include a mix of direct knowledge questions, scenario-based questions, and performance-based question style items where appropriate. All practice questions and exam materials must be original and must not use exam dumps, copied exam questions, real exam questions, leaked exam content, or anything that violates CompTIA certification policies. The instructor will also be responsible for creating all supporting materials, including slides, study guides, cheat sheets, security diagrams, quizzes, practice questions, lab instructions, exercises, downloadable resources, and any other materials needed for the course. The instructor will be responsible for delivering the final edited course videos, including clean cuts, audio cleanup, removal of mistakes or long pauses, screen recording edits, basic on-screen callouts where needed, and polished ready-to-publish exports. The instructor must have a high quality camera and microphone, be comfortable on camera, and have excellent communication skills. The preferred format is screen recording as the main view, with the instructor’s camera in the corner where appropriate. For intro sections, high-level explanations, summaries, direct-to-camera teaching, and similar parts of the course, the instructor may use a full-screen camera view. For slides, demos, walkthroughs, labs, technical explanations, and similar parts of the course, the instructor should use screen recording as the main view with the camera in the corner. The instructor may switch between these formats as appropriate throughout the course. Please include proof of your cybersecurity certifications, relevant security experience, teaching or training experience, examples of previous course recordings or tutorials, examples of certification-style practice questions you have written if available, confirmation whether you would be interested in the practice exams product, and confirmation that you can deliver the final edited course videos.
